Botanical Urban Design (BUD for short) needed a logo, a business card and a website (in that order). Specializing in floral design for events, holidays and container gardens they wanted a look that was modern, fresh and something that spoke to the natural elements with which they work. While the client expressed a love for all things Mid Century Modern it was the sumi-inspired representation of the Phalaenopsis orchid and the earthiness of the wood grain that ruled the day. BUD's website is very zen with the gorgeous image of the white orchid on a white background allowing the colorful images of their work to come to the fore. Lookin' good, BUD!
